Fourth Grade Passport Program

The Passport application portal will open in early August. 

Any child whose is in the Fourth Grade is eligible to participate once a parent or guardian completes the enrollment process. Once complete the Fourth Grader will be able to use the Passport. Each participating ski area in Minnesota will provide at least 2 lift tickets per season for the passport holder.

Please note these lift tickets cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or offers and not not valid with group programs or competition programs.

Our goal is to help introduce families to how much fun they can have together outside in the winter.

MNSAA Fourth Grade Passport Frequently Ask Questions

No, the MNSAA Fourth Grade Passport program is open to any student in the 4th grade regardless of what state they live in.

The passport application fee is $39.99 (tax included). Once purchased there are no additional fee’s for the 4th grade passport holder.

We do require verification the student is in the fourth grade. We ask that the parent or guardian upload proof of enrollment in the 4th grade. This can include a letter from the school, the 3rd grade report card showing progression to the 4th grade, a classroom assignment or syllabus. Yes! Any student in the 4th grade can participate in the program. For Homeschool students please enter “Homeschool” in the school field.

For the proof of grade please provide a current Letter of Intent to Homeschool.

Fourth grade is the perfect age to learn to ski and snowboard. This program is tailored for new and beginner skiers and snowboarders. They have the coordination skills and muscle development to pick up on the skills, as well as the ability to adhere to and follow safety information.

No, the MNSAA Fourth Grade Passport is fully digital. Parents or guardians will have access to the passport portal to redeem and manage their students pass.
